You might think that after nearly 20 years in the lash industry, I’d be ready to hang up my tweezers. But the truth is, my passion has only grown, shifting towards teaching and inspiring aspiring artists like you.

From as long as I can remember, the beauty industry has been my calling. My journey began as a high school makeup artist, and by my early 20s, I had expanded into nail artistry.

In 2006, I relocated to Houston, TX, to join Novalash Inc., just as lash extensions were emerging. Two years later, I moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where I pursued my entrepreneurial dreams in the lash industry. My dedication led me to graduate from The Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics in 2010, further advancing my career.

Motherhood brought me back to my home state of Connecticut, where I continued to build my lash career. In 2014, I proudly opened Scarlett's Beauty Bar & Spa in 2012 and am currently still working as an Eyelash Technician, Permanent Makeup Artist, and Esthetician, in addition to teaching.

In 2018, I took a significant step in advocating for our industry by creating the Connecticut Coalition of Esthetics. Collaborating with Connecticut’s top beauticians and business owners, I became a lobbyist, successfully achieving licensing for estheticians, nail artists, and lash technicians—an essential milestone, as Connecticut was the only state without such regulation by the Department of Public Health.

Today, I am thrilled to introduce The Connecticut Institute of Beauty & Wellness, offering the state's premier Lash Technician Course. My mission is to provide the highest quality education and inspire the next generation of beauty professionals.
